About this mod Machine translation
Content introduction
SOFIA is the abbreviation of "Stratospheric Infrared Astronomy Observatory" and is based on the Boeing 747SP. The 747SP is a special and shorter version of the first-generation 747. A huge telescope is installed inside the fuselage and can be seen by opening a large hatch at the rear of the fuselage. This mod also has hatches that open so you can see inside the plane.
In addition, compared with other 747s, this aircraft is a completely new modification. The windows will light up at night, the main cabin door can be opened, and the cockpit has detailed working instruments.
This mod is an add-on(!)
This is just one of several 747 versions. I have other versions planned including the standard 747SP, a laser weapon version or a modern 747-8i. Check out the GTA5 Mods Forum link below!
Like I said before, I really want to release more aircraft (military/civilian), helicopters, and military vehicles. If you like my work and want to see more, please show your support by donating. It helps me provide what I need to continue modifying (ZM3, model files, etc.)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
