About this mod Machine translation

The atolls in the Alamo Sea were the inspiration for the film "Waterworld." It is not a replica of what is seen in the movie, but is influenced by it.

It's a water-apocalyptic village with limited resources after a natural disaster scenario. The first 20 minutes of the movie "Waterworld" will give you a quick overview of the entire concept.

I planned to scale down on this map but it quickly got out of hand, I could easily keep adding and expanding to the atolls but I'm trying to keep the number of objects somewhat reasonable.

You don't need to add any additional installation for this map, just Menyoo and ScripthookV.

Menyoo -

ScriptHookV -

Install:

Place the 'Atoll' file into your Gta5 directory/menyoostuff/spooner.

Load into storymode, open Menyoo/Object Spooner/Manage Saved Files/Atoll/Load Spooner.

question:

Some exterior barges become transparent at certain distances. I thought about masking the interior walls with some scrap metal objects to mask the transparency, but that would probably take up too many objects and make it really hard to hit fps. One day I may replace the exterior walls with custom scrap metal items in an update. See-through walls bother me.

Atoll on the Alamo Sea is an idea inspired by the movie 'Waterworld'. It is not an exact replica to the one seen in the movie but is influenced by it.

This is an apocalyptic type village on the water with limited resources after a natural disaster scenario. The first 20 minutes of the movie 'Waterworld' will catch you up to speed on the whole concept of this.

I planned on this map being a much smaller scale but it got out of control quickly, I could easily keep adding and expanding to the Atoll but i tried to keep the amount of objects somewhat reasonable.

You do not need any extra installs for this map, just Menyoo and ScripthookV.

To Install:

Put the 'Atoll' file into your Gta5 directory/menyoostuff/spooner.

Load into storymode, open up Menyoo/ Object Spooner/ manage saved files/ Atoll / Load placements.

Issues:

Some of the outer barges become transparent at certain distances. I thought about skinning the inside walls with some of the scrap metal objects to cover up the transparency but that might take way too many objects and really hit the fps hard. I might swap out the outer walls with custom made scrap metal objects in an update someday. The see-thru walls bugs me.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
