The original template lacks some necessary ilb files, causing it to fail to compile. I have completed them and written a Readme.md file. I hope it can help you.
introduce
This is an ASI plug-in template written for GTAV. You can use it to quickly write a fully functional plug-in.
You need to prepare the following tools:
Visual Studio 2015 and above .NET Framework 4.5 and above
Visual Studio 2015 Compiler
VS CODE(not necessary)
Start editing
Open GTAV Template > GTAV MENU MOD.sln If you have installed Visual Studio 2015 and above normally, you should be able to open it normally
All your code must be edited in C++ in script.cpp
The native.cpp memory has many functions related to GTAV that can be called, but you must not modify them directly.
compile
When you have completed the code you like, click the "Generate (B)" button in the upper left corner of the screen, click it and then click "Generate Solution". Then if everything compiles fine, your ASI plug-in should appear in the bin folder.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
