Gang Beasts AI Demo
An offline AI opponent for Gang Beasts. Made by Mcpublished, AK, T and LegosLad.
IMPORTANT: two extra installs (the mod manager cannot do these)
- Install Python 3.12 and the ViGEmBus driver, then reboot.
- Open Command Prompt and run:
py -3.12 -m pip install requests mss pillow vgamepad "opencv-python==4.10.0.84" numpy pytesseract
Play
- Start Gang Beasts with this mod enabled.
- Open the mod's UserData folder (UserData/-GangBeastsAIDemo) and run:
py -3.12 gang_beasts_demo.py
- Press F9 in the lobby to make the AI join. F8 hides its HUD card.
Runs fully offline. Never connects to the internet.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
