About this mod Machine translation
Content introduction:
Unlocks the development console, allowing access to console commands and easily changing game CVars - as well as allowing loading of loose INI files from the game configuration folder!
Author: emoose
Install:
To install simply unzip xinput1_3.dll into the " End\Binaries\Win64 " folder, next to the " ff7remake_.exe " file (the underscore is important because the game contains two EXEs, this does not work with non-underscore EXEs)
Function
- The development console is now automatically unlocked by pressing the tilde (~) in game
Games will now read from standard UE4 INI files such as Engine.ini / Input.ini / etc.
Games can now read loose files such as UAsset or INI files without storing them in a .PAK, and loose files will also take precedence over files in a .PAK
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
