NMM handling

Description: FOMM can be installed. Location: Dr. Michelle’s toilet in her home.

+++Description+++

This mod adds an M14. It comes with unique static and sound entries as well as custom sounds and adds them to

Appropriate repairs, vendors and levels are listed. It also features three modifications, a silencer, a scope and a synthesis part.

Can be found on Doc Mitchell's toilet.

+++Compatibility+++

This mod should not conflict with any other mods.

+++Known issues+++

*The lever's reload animation will be a little awkward - that is, the animation will show it pulling back and pushing forward, but not moving. That's because there aren't proper animations to combine this gun's grip, attack, and reload animations. For example, we could hold the pistol grip like a rifle, animate the lever and magazine perfectly, or have the grip and lever work properly, but reloading the magazine would be cumbersome. We couldn't find a perfect combination that we were happy with, so that was it.

*The joystick clips onto the back of the gun every time you fire. There's also no solution to this problem without changing the gun design or modifying the animations that fans can tell immediately (something we couldn't do).

+++Installation+++

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
