This is a custom texture for the world map with the icons removed.
I didn't want to know where the main locations were until I discovered them, so I deleted them.
This is a great option if you want to avoid spoilers or explore and discover locations naturally.
When editing this map I tried to be as accurate as possible.
If roads, tracks, landmarks are slightly off, I'll do my best to fix them in an update.

You need to provide your own tool to add textures to your game, such as Baka File Tool
Or you can do it manually
- Back up Fallout76\Data\SeventySix - Textures05.ba2 archive
- Extract the archive to view the files. You need a program like B.A.E
- Replace the papermap_city_d.dds file with this
- Repackage the archive

This would be a good alternative if you would like to avoid spoilers or enjoy exploring and discovering locations naturally.
I have tried to be as accurate as possible while editing this map.
If roads, tracks, landmarks are slightly off I will to my best to fix them in an update.

You will need to provide you own tool to add the textures to the game such as Baka File Tool

- extract the archive to view the files. You will need a program such as B.A.E
- replace the papermap_city_d.dds file with this one
- re-pack the archive
