About this mod Machine translation

It does what it says on the tin. This will replace the basic Pipboy texture with the responder theme appearance. Based on currently unreleased VTU Atomic Store textures.

Due to mod limitations, this mod means that for you all pipboys without special paint jobs will have a Responders theme. I'd better do ATM.

It has a little difference between the look of 3rd and 1st person, I don't know how to fix that, but I think it looks great. Of course others won't see it, but you will know where your heart is.

Install

(mod description from registrator2000)

  • Download the mod and extract it to the Fallout 76 Data folder.
  • Add RespondersPipboy.ba2 to the archive load list in the Fallout76Custom.ini file
  • Start the game.

First time installing BA2-archive mod in Fallout 76?

These instructions will allow you to load the modified assets for your game.

Create the following file: <Documents Folder>\My Games\Fallout 76\Fallout76Custom.ini

Copy and paste the following two lines into Fallout76Custom.ini:

[Word]

sResourceArchive2List = RespondersPipboy.ba2

Entries are separated by commas. Whenever you want to add an archive to the load list, just append the archive name to the end of this list. To stop loading an archive, remove it from the list.

compatibility

This is a very simple mod, but will replace pipboy's basic textures. Before GECK, this was the best I could do. Furthermore, no one can see it unless they also own it.

Exactly what it says on the tin.  This will replace the base Pipboy texture with a Responders Themed look. Based on a currently unreleased Atomic Shop Texture for VTU.

Due to limitations with modding this mod means that to YOU all pipboys without a special paint job on them will have a Responders theme.  Best I can do ATM.

There is a little discrepancy between how it looks in 3rd and 1st person and I'm not sure how to fix that, but I think it looks great.  Sure others won't see it, but you'll know where your heart lies.

Compatibility

This is a very simple mod, but will REPLACE the base texture for the pipboy. This is the best I can do for know until the GECK.  Also, no one will be able to see it unless they also have it.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
