About this mod Machine translation

Ever been annoyed by that annoying cash register sound after blasting everything in front of you? Me too.

When exp is gained once and for all, this mod removes it. We are in a big disaster...not at Walmart.

Install .ba2 method:

Extract the .ba2 file to Fallout 76’s Data folder. It is usually located in: C:\Bethesda.net Launcher\games\Fallout76\Data

Create or edit the following file: C:\Documents\My Games\Fallout 76\Fallout76Custom.ini

Copy and paste the following three lines into Fallout76Custom.ini:

[Word]

SResourceArchiveList2 = SeventySix  -  Animations.ba2,SeventySix  -  EnlightenInteriors.ba2,SeventySix  -  GeneratedTextures.ba2,SeventySix  -  EnlightenExteriors01.ba2,SeventySix  -  EnlightenExteriors02.ba2,NoMoreExpSound.ba2

Save the .ini file and you're good to go.

Installation of archive 2 method:

You need to install the Fallout 4 Creation Kit for the Save 2 method to work! You can get it for free from Bethesda.net Launcher. don’t worry. You don't need to purchase Fallout 4 to download it.

Run: "..\Fallout 4\Tools\Archive2\Archive2.exe"

Open "..\Fallout 76\data\SeventySix - sounds01.ba2" (Please note that sound file archives may change if you patch the game.)

Drag the downloaded sound folder into the Archive 2 window.

Click "Save" in the upper left corner of the program to save the archive.

If you like the mod, please endorse this file! ???

profit.

You can also use Baka File Tool Loose File Loader. See the mod author's page for installation instructions for this method.

Please note that if you choose to install it using the archive2 method, you may have to reinstall this mod after every game update!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
