In game settings:
Set depth of field to off. Motion blur is off. Film grain closes. Leave brightness at default.
Install:
*Download the latest reshade from
*Install Reshade setup.exe
*It will ask for the game's root.exe
*Select WoLong.exe in \Steam\steamapps\common\WoLongFallenDynasty
*Select DirectX 11/12
*Select all shaders during installation
*Backup current lut.png if you choose. Located in the \Steam\steamapps\common\WoLongFallenDynasty\reshade-shaders\Textures folder
*Unzip 1.0/2.0
*Copy and paste the 1.0/2.0, Reshade.ini and reshade-shaders folders into the \Steam\steamapps\common\WoLongFallenDynasty folder
*covered when asked
*Load the game and press the HOME button to bring up ghosting. Do tutorials. There is a drop-down box at the top that allows you to select an .ini file.
*Select performance mode

ps: AA in reshade will add a blur effect to text and menus. It is designed to be a mix of grass, rocks and trees. If you don't like the look of it, deselect DLAA_Plus.fx
pss: Added shadows have issues in menu screens and some cutscenes. The button for turning this feature on and off is pre-assigned to the END key. Just turn the shade off and on when it gets in your way. This is an unfortunate side effect of MXAO and RTGI. This is an unavoidable limitation. It's worth it in my opinion.

The button to switch this on and off has been pre assigned to the END key. just toggle shadows off and on when it gets in your way. its an unfortunate side effect of MXAO and RTGI. Its a limitation that can't be avoided. Still worth it in my opinion.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
