Game save automatic backup tool

An automatic archive backup tool for the Soul series and other games. You can modify the backup shortcut keys yourself, or automatically back up every X minutes or back up the archive immediately after the game comes with the save.

What's this?

Auto Backup is a save file backup management tool originally made for Elden Ring with autohotkey.

What can it do?

It can create backups of save files on every game save or interval. This is great for soul types after you die, just go back to the title screen and restore one of your last save backups. You can also manually create backups before boss fights or your favorite parts of the game to restore them at any time. This also helps prevent possible corrupted save files so you don't lose all your game time.

You must return to the title screen before restoring your backup!

-Added separate hotkeys for parry and dodge (dodge is a bit sloppy with the gamepad, while to parry you have to stand still, with the keyboard your movements stop automatically). To bind to keys like Shift/CTRL/Space, open .profile and edit e.g. HK24=~Space for parry, HK25=~Ctrl for dodge.

Notes

• Always return to the title screen before restoring your backup!
• Quick backup will always overwrite the "Quickbackup" file in the backup folder, to create a separate backup please use custom hotkeys for manual backup.
• This tool can only backup the last autosave in the game, not create a separate save state, but in the Souls game it is somewhat possible, when you exit the game, then after reloading it will create a new autosave that you can manually backup from, it is like having a custom "save state".
• For optimal use, place ERAB on a second monitor to see an overview of automatic backups.
• You can use your own notification sounds by replacing existing notification sounds in the ERAB folder.
• The screenshot may not be accurate, but it should help manage your backup files.
• When you see the status overlay in the middle of the screen, press ctrl+alt+s to reposition it. To disable it, go to "Settings > EZAB Settings > Misc > Use EZAB"

• Unpack EZAB
• Launch ERAB.exe. On first launch, EZAB will ask you to create a new configuration file.
