[1.1] Three-piece long box MOD set and instructions for use

Multiple boxes in a row can be combined into one large box.

There are three MODs related to long boxes. However, the original author did not explain the relationship between the three in detail and just released it so crudely, so many friends had a lot of problems when using it. Explain here:

These three MODs are

WideChests_3.4.0: The main program of long boxes. To put it simply: this is a must if you want to use long boxes. However, this MOD only supports the merging of steel boxes by default. The boxes supported by default can be adjusted in the module settings, such as setting it to wooden boxes.

WideChestsAllTypes_1.2.0 Plus MOD for long boxes. After using the main program, use this. By default, you can merge multiple boxes, whether they are wooden boxes, iron boxes or steel boxes.

WideChestsLogistic_1.3.0 The main program of the long box logistics version MOD adds this, which can not only merge wooden boxes, iron boxes, and steel boxes. It's really amazing that you can combine logistics boxes.

Basic gameplay:

By default, 42 boxes can be placed in a row, either vertically or horizontally. Then you can see a function key with the "M" mark on the blueprint button below. After clicking it, frame the row of boxes. It will become a long box. Its inventory also accumulates.

The default maximum number in a row is 42, which can be adjusted in the module settings, but it is not recommended to adjust it too large. Serious video game startup speed. 42 is a relatively optimized parameter. If the computer configuration is high, you can get more than 50.

Basic gameplay: Based on 42 boxes in a row, a long box can connect more than 20 factories on both sides. It is equivalent to a common set of inventory for all factories, completely eliminating the flow requirements between semi-finished products and finished products. Its production efficiency is really very high. If you use signal lines to control the inventory of various semi-finished products, it will be a perfect production line.

Veterans generally don’t use this MOD, as it has a great impact on the balance of the game and makes it unchallenging.

How to use: Download the compressed package in the attachment. After decompression, you will get three small compressed packages, and then put the three files starting with wide into the mods folder.
