About this mod Machine translation
Replace all fluids with replacement items.
Not only are the fluid dynamics in factorio unstable, but the UPS is also heavy, so to help with large servers, I made this mod!
It turns any fluid into a must-use item! It adapts all recipes to match items with minimal loss due to rounding errors!
You no longer need to use robots and barrels to move it! Just use this item!
Features:
--Replace all fluids with items, 1 solid = 60 fluids
-- Adapt all recipes to changes
-- Remove all fluid containers from buildings so pickups can nudge them.
--Hold steam and any fluids used in mining. There is always a way to get these.
-- Boilers are used to provide solid water to produce steam at the same cost as before, but produce fluid steam (or solids, if you need it!)
- Pumps are created that can pump water anywhere, they are burners based but require so little energy that 1 lump of coal lasts 8 million seconds.
--For mining that requires fluids, it generates a recipe that the boiler can use to turn solid fluids into liquids for use in the mine.
--For generators that use fluids, it creates recipes for fluids and solids.
Known issues:
-- Pump graphics are wonky, need someone GFX wise to help deliver something that looks good, feel like it? Please contact me on my discord server!
--The boiler uses angel electricity, which is not suitable. Same as above.
Credits: Angel let me use his assets again! boiler.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
