Spices Selection

Just Spices

Just Spices has expanded the spice system, splitting the broad category of vanilla spices into more categories. I think trading things is fun, why not have more things to trade?

Function:

7 new RGOs: Vanilla, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cardamom, Turmeric, Ginger and Star Anise.

2 progress.

5 new buildings including cafe, chocolate house and tavern.

51 dynamic historical events related to spices, involving Portugal, Spain, England, the Low Countries and France.

18 random events for use in the random event pool.

Compatibility and other notes:

Just Spices will not overwrite any vanilla files.

All spices except vanilla are fully integrated with Columbia Exchange. However, due to restricted override rules, these items will not appear in the situation's overview window. This is just a very minor visual issue.

NOTE: Vanilla cannot be propagated in Colombian exchange. This was not a mistake but a deliberate decision for historical reasons.

This mod changes the checksum and is recommended for use with new saves. Since vanilla has limited changes, trade goods can take months of game time to balance.

Just Trade Goods

Just Trade Goods is a series of modular mods designed to expand the Europa Universalis 5 trade goods system as much as possible by breaking out the vanilla abstraction while doing so with as little overwriting of vanilla files as possible. You can add these mods to your game in any combination you like.
