Modular Remastered
A complete overhaul of the old __Modular__ era, this character cannot use any weapons other than their starter, but gain __unique passive upgrades__ that lets them expand their abilities.
This mod contains:
- A whole new character!
- Up to __85+__ new passive upgrades unique to the Modular, which have stacking capabilities.
- Multiple unlocks that are __unique__ to the Modular. Maybe try a __playstyle change__ every once in a while?
- Character-specific synergies, displayed with an arrow above the item. Some items aren't as __useless as they many seem__.
- __An unlockable alternate skin__- wait what?
- __And, most importantly...__... A Regret..?
Special Thanks To:
- Lynceus, my play tester and advice giver. A lot of bugs and issues were found and fixed thanks to him! He has also sprited a lot of small icons that you can find in the mod!
- Docmcstuffins (gave idea for the Mirrored Software Module)
- Stavbearer (gave idea for the Hellfire Launcher Module)
- Beah (main inspiration behind a certain new module)
- SpecialAPI (Warning me about new bugs)
- Captain Pretzel (Bug squasher and code god.)
SHILLING SECTION
If you wish to support me and/or like the work that I do, I have a ko-fi you can throw a couple of bucks into! Do it if you want, or don't.
(Because I'm a shameless shill.)
(I wanted to do something fancy visually but just a link will do for now.)
(And yes I did copy-paste this from the Planetside README, sue me.)
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
