About this mod Author’s original text
Loop The Gungeon
Turn a completed Gungeon run into an __endless run!__ Loop back from the __end__ to the __start__, keep your __inventory__, and face a __newly generated Gungeon__ with each loop.
As the loops continue, __enemies become stronger__ and the Gungeon’s __economy becomes harsher__, with prices and payouts scaling alongside the increasing difficulty. __How long can you survive?__
Features
- __Endless progression:__ carry your __inventory and progression__ across loops as each new Gungeon becomes more difficult.
- __Configurable loop scaling:__ customise __enemy__ health, attack speed, movement speed, projectile speed, and additional spawns each loop. Adjust the scaling of shop __prices__ and Sell Creep __payouts__ to match the increasing difficulty.
- __Reawakened Mastery Shrine:__ sacrifice your __Master Rounds__ in exchange for powerful bonuses and milestone rewards.
- __Quality of life changes:__ optional DPS cap & Lord of the Jammed removal, and __actual__ High Dragun & Lich rewards.
- __Mid-game save support:__ reach a Save Button to take a break and return later. __The Gungeon will remember your loops..__
- __Live configuration:__ all loop settings are integrated using __Gunfig__, allowing you to change every modifier __live in-game__.
__Use the loop_status console command to view your current loop summary in-game!__
How do I loop?
__There are 2 ways to start a new loop:__
- __Enter the Loophole:__ reach the Blacksmith and talk to the new __Loop Button__ to open a __loophole__ back to the start. There's a catch however, as the __Loop Button__ will ask for a specific __Master Round__ as payment in order to loop from here.
- __Defeat the Lich:__ Fight through Bullet Hell and __defeat the Lich__ normally. From there, you'll be able to __shoot yourself__ (literally) back to the beginning with your progression intact. For obvious reasons, __try not to miss__ and hit the Lich instead:]
Special Thanks
Dallan for creating the logo and all the awesome sprites!
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
