About this mod Author’s original text
Court of the Crimson King
An entry for the Gungeon Creator Contest 2, an item pack containing 6 new unique items based around the theme of "Sacrifices Must Be Made".
Items
- Kapala: A Tier Active, +3 curse, heals on use. Can only be charged by damaging enemies close to the player
- Crimson Crown: C tier passive, +1 curse. HP is set to half a heart on entering a new floor, enemies have a chance to spawn at 0.5 hp.
- Red Ice: B tier passive, allows you to use items on cooldown for the price of taking a full heart of damage.
- A Blindfold: B tier passive, enemies have a very small chance to instantly die on damage.
- Anti-Key: B tier passive, all new keys gained are converted to stats-up while held.
- Red Lockbox: B tier active, spawns 2 random items and 2 full hearts on use. Prevents most healing while held, converting it to charge for the item.
All items can be giving through the console using the prefix "junegunjam", as `give junegunjam:item_name`. This pack was made entirely in less than 7 days, totally around near a day's total work (if I had to guess).
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
