Replace your favorite shield with the iconic Hylian shield from the Legend of Zelda series! This mod perfectly recreates the classic look of the Hylian shield, including correct controller placement and usable cutscene textures.

✨ Version selection

• **Twilight Princess Version** - The author recommended version, the model is more refined
• **Breath of the Wild version** - retains the classic design for players who like the original style to choose from

🔧 Installation instructions

**Replaces blue patterned heated shield by default**, but you can also replace any other shield:

• Change "2037" in the file name to the equipment model ID of the shield you want to replace.
• For example: change "wp_a_2037.partsbnd.dcx" to "wp_a_2203.partsbnd.dcx"
• Also modify the corresponding _l file

🗺️ Get location

The blue-striped heating shield can be purchased from the Nomadic Trader in the northwest of Lake Lienia, near the Blessing Point of Belum Church, for 1,500 runes.

💡 PRO TIP

**Want the protection of a large shield but don’t want the weird look of a Hylian shield? **

Use Yapped RuneBear to modify protection stability:

• Path: EquipParamWeapon → Row 31300000 → Guard Stability
• Increase the protection stability to 65 to obtain protection equivalent to a large shield.
• When set to 100, it is equivalent to activating the barrier shield (blocking attacks does not consume stamina)

📦 Installation method

**Method 1: Mod Engine 2**

Put the parts folder into the mod folder

**Method 2: UXM method**

Make sure EasyAntiCheat is disabled and replace the appropriate files in the parts folder
