Balance whip weapons to suit PVE storyline gameplay
It's All About Whip
🎯 **Whip Weapon Balance Overhaul** - Let the whip really play a role in the PVE plot!
✨ Module Features
Whips may be useful in PVP due to their advantages such as long range and light weight, but in PVE story mode, we will find that whips are too weak to fight against powerful enemies! This mod is designed for players who want to use the whip as their main weapon to complete the story.

🎮 Action adjustment
- **Cancel forward swing action** - You can cancel the forward swing action by dodging or blocking.
- **Dodge earlier** - You can dodge earlier after attacking, allowing you to retreat smoothly after attacking.
- **R2 Charged Attack** - Creates a whip storm and gives R2 attack a legitimate reason to use
- **Jump R2 Attack** - Faster than usual, making it more useful
- **Counter Attack** - Add some toughness
- **Dance of Fire** - Increases toughness, increases speed, and corrects attack timing to match the 3D model (can attack enemies on the left and right sides)
- **Block and Dodge** - Have longer pre-input time
---
⚙️ Parameter adjustment
- **Increased Hard Time and Toughness** - Added more hit pause time and toughness to all whips to accommodate their slow speed
- **Attribute Affinity** - Allows all whips to have attribute affinity
- **War Ash Skill** - "Fire Dance" now has War Ash, which can be obtained after defeating the Red Giant (Note: only applicable to Giant Red Braid Whip, do not equip it on other whips)
- **War Gray Compatibility** - Many War Grays can now be used on whips
- **Strength Whip** - Thorn Whip is now a Strength Whip
- **Dexterity Version** - Added another dexterity version of the Giant Red Braid Whip, which can be purchased like the regular version
---
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
**Please note! This mod just makes the whip more balanced instead of overpowering! The action of the whip hasn't changed much. **

📥 Installation Guide
- **Single Use** - If you only use this mod, just put it into the mods/mods folder
(Mod Engine 2 is highly recommended)
- **COMMON WITH OTHER MODS** - If you want to use it with other mods, just merge the parameters into your regulation.bin using a CSV file
- **Compatibility Note** - **Not compatible with other modules that modify "C0000.anibnd.dcx"**
(Generally, any mod that changes the fader's behavior should edit "C0000.anibnd.dcx")
If you want it to work, you can use Yabber.exe to unpack my C0000.anibnd.dcx and take out "a043.tae" "a226.tae" "a845.tae" files and replace them into your mod's C0000.anibnd.dcx (unpacking of course), then use Yabber.exe to package them back into C0000.anibnd.dcx. Now you have a merged C0000.anibnd.dcx!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
