Deadweight Moveset - Nero DMC5 Moveset Mod
🎮 **Welcome to the world of Nero DMC5 action mods! **
✨ Module introduction
Hello everyone! I'm Onyx, and I'm back with a brand new action mod! Inspired by community members, I decided to challenge myself to bring you more exciting mods. After studying on YouTube and trial and error, I finally succeeded in making this "real" action module - allowing you to experience Nero's classic fighting style in DMC5 in the game!
⚔️ Combat system
Combo A - Light attack one-handed combo
Smooth one-handed sword combos, showing off Nero’s signature fighting style
Combo C - light, light, heavy, heavy one-handed combos
Although all movements cannot be completely restored due to animation limitations, the core combos are still exciting.
Dodge Attack - Step Back > Light Attack
Flexible dodge and counterattack skills allow you to fight with ease
Maximum Bet - War Gray Skills
💙 **Note: consuming FP value will not destroy the balance too much**
Although slightly different from the original version of DMC5, additional shooting effects have been added as a test
🔥 Transcendence Mode
- **Two-hand holding mode** (visual effects)
- **Attack speed increased by 25%**
- Brings a more refreshing combat experience
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
This mod replaces the Hound Tusk animation, which may cause compatibility issues if you have other mods that rely on this weapon animation.
**Special reminder**: The Red Queen Sword mod and Nero costume are **not made by me**, I just designed this system to be compatible with my action mods. It is recommended to use the small version for best results.
Hope you guys enjoy my first real action mod! I put a lot of effort into trying to be the best I can be. If you encounter any bugs, please feel free to submit a report and I will try my best to improve it!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
