🔧 Custom replacement
Want to replace another set? Here's how to rename files:
- **View Model IDs**: Elden's Circle Armor and Weapon Model ID List
**File naming rules:**
- hd = helmet | bd = armor | lg = legs | am = gauntlets
- m = male | f = female | XXXX = model ID
- wp = weapon | _l = NPC item
**Example:**
- `bd_m_XXXX.partsbnd.dcx` → `bd_m_1540.partsbnd.dcx` Replaces male chain mail
- `wp_a_XXXX.partsbnd.dcx` → `wp_a_0550.partsbnd.dcx` replaces the knife
💡 Usage Tips
- Most character mods only use the armor part, the helmet, legs and gloves become invisible
- If the set contains a female version file (bd_f_XXXX) but not in the module, you can copy the male version file and rename it

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
