About this mod Machine translation

Lower the visor of the Wandering Knight's helmet to cover your face. Available in original and 4K resolution versions.

Wandering Knight helmet visor is lowered

🛡️ Module function

This mod lowers the visor of the Wandering Knight's helmet to cover the face! Although the item description in the game says *"The visor is damaged and cannot be put down"*, this module has been carefully adjusted to allow the visor to be put down perfectly, while ensuring that the character can still "see" it, and clearly showing the severe damage and dent marks on the visor.

⚠️ Important reminder

**Ray tracing must be turned off! ** Turning on ray tracing when using any model-editing mod will cause the game to crash!

**Never use mods online** or you will be banned! Please download an anti-cheat switcher and offline launcher to bypass EAC, or use Mod Engine 2 which will automatically disable it.

🎮 Module usage skills

Want this model to display on **partners, NPCs, and the Replica Teardrop**? Very simple!

Find the **DCX** file in the **parts** folder:

  • Copy the file
  • Add "_l" (underscore and lowercase L) before the period in the file name
  • For example: `hd_m_1280.partsbnd` → `hd_m_1280_l.partsbnd`

This way the mod will show up on both you and your partners/NPCs/Mimetic Teardrops!

📥 Installation method

**UXM installation**

  • Unpack the parts folder according to the instructions of UXM Selective Unpacker
  • Unzip this module to the selected location
  • Place the "parts" content into the folder with the same name created by UXM
  • Patching the game using UXM selective unpacker

**Mod Engine 2 [Recommended]**

  • Download Mod Engine 2 (can be placed anywhere)
  • Make sure there is a "parts" folder in the "mod" folder of Mod Engine 2
  • Unzip this module to the selected location
  • Place the "parts" content into a folder with the same name in the "mod" folder
  • Use the Batch file launchmod_eldenring to launch the game

---

🗑️ Uninstall method

Just delete the DCX file in the parts folder, or the entire parts folder if this is the only mod you have installed that uses that folder. Make sure to do this when the game is not running, otherwise the armor will become invisible.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
