Alive Clear and Colorful

🎮 **Bring Elden Ring to life and say goodbye to the gray filter! **

✨ Core Functions

The **Alive** preset focuses on **removing/reducing the gray filter**, while **AliveUltraVibrant** makes the game as rich as a paint bucket with only a small loss of detail. I still recommend adjusting based on personal preference and monitor color/white balance.

Every area and NPC should feel natural, but most importantly - **full of life**!

Tired of the typical gray filter found in modern games? The main goal of this preset is to remove the old plastic phone case-like dust from the game, returning it to its original deep, vibrant colors like a paint bucket, while maintaining sharp details - without adding any glitter effects.

🎯 Design Concept

  • **Keep all details**: Make sure you see the same amount of details as you would during normal play
  • **Natural Color**: Don’t overexpose whites and don’t make shadows too dark
  • **Adjustability**: If you feel the saturation is too high, just adjust the "Vibrance" setting

⚙️ Setting options

I've provided some **optional** settings in case you want some additional effects. The recommended setting sequence is as follows:

**IMPORTANT SETUP INSTRUCTIONS:**

🔍 Clarity

-Purely a personal preference, you can choose to turn it on or off

  • Provides slight depth/sharpness to edges

🌫️ Deband (remove the ribbon)

  • Set up to perform well in most situations
  • Especially improve the performance of fog effects in areas such as swamps
  • It is recommended to keep the settings as they are

☁️ DeHaze (remove haze)

  • Slightly lift areas that should be white
  • Most obvious on clouds and armor reflections
  • You can turn it off if you think it will lose details.

🎨 Color Control Group

  • **Technicolor(2)/Tonemap/MinimalColorGrading**
  • Control color and brightness to ideal conditions
  • Vibrance is responsible for color, these settings are responsible for other color and brightness adjustments

💡 Usage suggestions

  • Recommend **Create a copy** for personalization
  • If you create an interesting effect, feel free to share it anywhere
  • This is a template preset designed to make the process instant or easier

🌟 **This is my first time uploading a Reshade preset of any kind, I am by no means an expert and there are definitely flaws. Please tell me where I need to improve, I'm willing to learn! **

Make the game look the way it should look: stunning, no compromises, **no glitter**.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
