Veteran's Helm Visor Down

🛡️ Module function

This module puts down the visor of the veteran helmet in "Elden's Circle" and covers it on the character's face, bringing a new change to the appearance of the equipment! ✨

  • **Dual version selection**: original and 4K high-resolution versions available
  • **Careful adjustment**: After careful position adjustment, the problem of mold wear is minimized
  • **Strong Compatibility**: Can be used with the author's Veteran's Set Recolors and COLOSSUS modules

⚠️ Important reminder

**Ray tracing must be turned off! ** Turning on ray tracing when using this type of mod that modifies the model will cause the game to crash.

**Never use mods online** or you will be banned! It is recommended to download an anti-cheat switcher and offline launcher or use Mod Engine 2 to automatically disable EAC.

🎮Extended display function

Want this model to also appear on **partners, NPCs, and phantom teardrops**? Just find the DCX file in the parts folder, make a copy and add "_l" (underscore and lowercase L) before the period in the file name!

📥 Installation Guide

**UXM installation method**

  • Follow the UXM Selective Unpacker instructions to unzip the parts folder.
  • Unzip the module to the selected location
  • Place the "parts" content into the folder with the same name created by UXM
  • Use UXM Selective Unpacker to patch the game

**Mod Engine 2 [Recommended]**

  • Download Mod Engine 2 and place it anywhere
  • Make sure there is a "parts" folder in the "mod" folder of Mod Engine 2
  • Extract the module to the selected location
  • Put the "parts" content into the folder with the same name in the "mod" folder
  • Use Batch File launchmod_eldenring to launch the game

🗑️ Uninstall method

Simply delete the DCX file in the parts folder, or the entire parts folder if this is the only mod you have installed that uses that folder. **Make sure to do this while the game is not running** otherwise the armor will become invisible.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
