Veteran's Armor Set Recolors

🎨 **2 beautifully recolored versions of the veteran armor set**, including all armor variants. The textures are upgraded to 4K resolution using Gigapixel AI, which is clearer and sharper than Photoshop upscaling!

✨ Model improvements

  • **Right Mittens**: Replaced with a replica of the left hand
  • **Mask Design**: The mask now pulls down to cover the entire face
  • **Duck Foot Correction**: Removed the original duck foot design
  • **Prosthetic Option**: Can choose the same prosthetic leg replacement as Commander Niall

💡 **Special Thanks**: The duck feet modification is based on ScaledFeather's mod "Veteran's Greaves Modified", thanks to them for allowing me to incorporate this design into this mod!

🎯 Color selection

  • **Silver Version** - Classic and Elegant
  • **Gold Version** - Gorgeous and noble

⚠️ Important reminder

**Ray tracing must be turned off! ** Turning on ray tracing when using any model-editing mod will cause the game to crash!

🔧 Installation Guide

It is recommended to use Mod Engine 2

  • Download Mod Engine 2 and place it anywhere
  • Make sure there is a "parts" folder in the "mod" folder of Mod Engine 2
  • Unzip this module
  • Place the contents of the "parts" folder into the "parts" folder within the "mod" folder of Mod Engine 2
  • Use Batch File launchmod_eldenring to launch the game

🗑️ Uninstall method

Just delete the DCX file in the parts folder, or the entire parts folder if this is the only mod you have installed that uses that folder. Make sure to do this when the game is not running, otherwise the armor will become invisible.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
