🔧 Custom replacement
Want to replace another equipment set? Just rename the file!
**File naming rules:**
- hd = helmet | bd = breastplate | lg = legs | am = gauntlets
- m = male | f = female
- XXXX = model ID
- wp = weapon | _l = NPC item
**Example:**
- `bd_m_1540.partsbnd.dcx` → Replaces male chain mail
- `wp_a_0550.partsbnd.dcx` → Replace the knife
**Tips:**
- Most character mods only use breastplate parts, and the helmet, legs and gauntlets are invisible
- If the set contains the female version file (bd_f_XXXX) but the mod does not provide it, you can copy the male version file and rename it

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
