Installation Guide 📥
Method 1: Mod Engine 2
- **Disable EAC and set to offline mode** (using the module online may result in account ban)
- **Download and Install** Mod Engine 2
- **Extract the "menu" folder** of this module to the "mod" folder of Mod Engine 2
Method 2: Manual configuration
Put the entire "Transparent Menu" folder into the "mod" folder and add in "config_eldenring.toml":
```
{ enabled = true, name = "Transparent Menu", path = "mod\\Transparent Menu" }
```
Method 3: Automatic installation
Run the "Setup UI Images (Transparent Menu V2).lnk" file to automatically patch the game files.
Compatibility Note 🔧
How to be compatible with other mods:
- Use Yabber to decompress the "01_common.tpf.dcx" file
- Extract the edited file:
- SB_Mainmenu_03.dds
- SB_Mainmenu_02.dds
- SB_Mainmenu.dds
- SB_In_GameTop.dds

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
