📥 Installation Guide
Using ModEngine
Add the following to the `[modengine]` section of the ModEngine configuration file:
```
external_dlls = ["path\\to\\SpellRandomizer.dll"]
```
Using Elden Mod Loader
- Install Elden Mod Loader and bypass EAC
- Create the "ELDEN RING\Game\mods" directory (if it does not exist)
- Copy SpellRandomizer.dll and SpellRandomizer_config.ini to the mods directory
Standalone use
Rename the module to dinput8.dll and place it in the game directory while bypassing the EAC
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
- Do not manually equip any spells, otherwise they may be overwritten or abnormal.
- Make sure SpellRandomizer.dll and SpellRandomizer_config.ini are always in the same directory
- The SpellRandomizer_log.txt log file will be created when the game starts
🔧 Configuration instructions
Please view the SpellRandomizer_config.ini file for detailed configuration options, which supports custom random intervals and spell range settings.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
