🛠️ Installation instructions

It is highly recommended to download and install ModEngine2 for easier installation of this mod. Directly replacing the game's regulation.bin file will result in you being banned from online play, and in some cases even completely unable to play.

After installing ModEngine2, navigate to the "mod" folder in the unzipped archive, extract the "regulation.bin" file of this module into the "mod" folder, and then use the "launchmod_eldenring.bat" file of ModEngine2 to run the game.

🗑️ Uninstall method

Remove the modified "regulation.bin" file from the "mod" folder of ModEngine2

🔄 Compatibility Notes

If you use other mods that modify the regulation.bin file, you will need to merge them with this module's regulation.bin file using a method of your choice. I've included an optional download with the relevant CSV files, but as this is my first time making a mod, I can't provide merge suggestions.

⚠️ Please note that I do not guarantee compatibility with full remastered mods or any mods that modify the crafting system in some way.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
