Silver Mask and Hood

✨ Module Features

  • **Main File**: Removed Mesmer Soldier Helmet, leaving only the silver mask and dark hood underneath
  • **ALTERNATE VERSION**: Only the silver mask remains (replaces the civilian headband as the original helmet would make the character bald)

🎭 Styling suggestions

Pair it with a giant sword and dark clothing for a sinister swordsman look inspired by The Phantom of the Opera! 💫

**Tips to enhance the atmosphere:**

  • Turn down skin glossiness in detailed appearance menu
  • Darken your skin tone so your face is in shadow
  • Path: Detailed Appearance → Modify Face and Hair → Skin Features

🔧 Installation instructions

**ModEngine2 User:**

  • Unzip the downloaded .rar file
  • Place the "parts" folder into the "mod" folder of Mod Engine
  • If you already have the parts folder of other mods, you can directly put the .dcx file into it

**Metis Mod Launcher Users:**

  • Start the program and enter the "Mods" tab on the left
  • Select "Add from folder" and select the directory containing the parts folder
  • Select the profile in the "Profiles" tab and check the newly added mod

📝 Creative background

This mod was inspired by a comment from user "beyondesolation" on another mod of mine that removed the mask but kept the helmet. I tried it out of curiosity and the effect was unexpectedly good, so I sorted it out and shared it with everyone!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
