Romina Boss Resurrection Fix
🎯 Function Overview
Fixed a critical issue that allows boss rematch mods and tools (including Cheat Engine) to work properly in Romina boss battles.
🔧 Root of the problem
When you burn the Seal Tree, the game triggers an event marker that switches the map from a version that includes Romina, the trees, and the roots around Enl-Ilin (Map 61_44_45_00) to a version that doesn't include these elements (Map 61_44_45_10).
When you respawn Romina using the boss rematch mod/tool, she will respawn in the default map (00), but not in the currently accessible map (10) because she does not exist as an entity in that map at all.
💡 Solution
This mod very simply renames map 00 to map 10, allowing you to fight Romina again.
**⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: ** Please only install this mod after burning the trees and reaching Enl-Ilin to avoid any possible game progression issues.
📥 Installation method
- Install ModEngine2
- Place the m61_44_45_10.msb.dcx file into the ModEngine2\\map\\MapStudio\\ folder
- Use the launchmod_eldenring.bat file of ModEngine2 to launch the game

✨ Enjoy the game!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
