- Run the game directly
🔧 Advanced Customization
Want to replace other equipment? Here's a little trick:
**File naming rules:**
- `hd` = helmet
- `bd` = breastplate
- `lg` = leg
- `am` = gauntlets
- `m` = male
- `f` = female
- `wp` = weapon
- `_l` = NPC item
**Usage example:**
- Rename `bd_m_XXXX.partsbnd.dcx` to `bd_m_1540.partsbnd.dcx` to replace male chain mail
- Rename `wp_a_XXXX.partsbnd.dcx` to `wp_a_0550.partsbnd.dcx` to replace the knife
💡 Notes
- Most character mods only use the chest piece, the helmet, leg armor and gauntlets will remain invisible
- If some sets contain a female version file (bd_f_XXXX.partsbnd.dcx) which is not provided in the mod, you can copy the male version file and rename it to create a female version

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
