Elden Ring - Remove Soft Caps
🎯 Module function
This mod will remove the soft cap restrictions on all major attributes in the game, providing a near-linear growth curve for damage (including catalysts), health, focus, and stamina.
❓ What is a soft cap?
The soft cap determines the threshold at which attribute growth decreases as levels increase.
For example:
- **Vitality** provides a large health bonus until reaching level 40
- Reduced health provided between levels 40-60
- Provides very little health between levels 60-99
In this example, 40 and 60 are soft caps, the threshold points at which attribute growth begins to decrease.
⚡ Mod effect
This module removes the above restrictions, allowing you to obtain the same damage increase/health/concentration/stamina bonus at each level as you upgrade your attributes to level 99.
You can see the exact changes by looking at the diagram in the mod's pictures section. As shown in the figure, the growth curve becomes linear, with higher benefits obtained at each level.
💪 Attributes worth upgrading
Now it's worth upgrading the following attributes all the way to **level 99**:
- **Vitality**
- **Endurance**
- **Concentration**
- **STRENGTH**
- **Dexterity**

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
