Ratan red lion helmet visor modification

✨ Module Features

This mod solves the issue where the face of the helmet of General Ratan's suit is exposed! By moving the top lion's head down as a visor to cover the face, while moving the lower jaw portion upwards, you create a fully covered face and a closed helmet with a lion's face. Although those who have faded may not be able to see clearly, they do look more handsome!

⚠️ Important reminder

**Ray tracing must be turned off! ** Turning on ray tracing when using any model-editing mod will cause the game to crash!

**Don’t play online! ** Do not attempt to play online while using any mods, otherwise you will be banned. Please download anti-cheat switcher and offline launcher to bypass EAC.

🎮 Module usage skills

Want your model to show up on partners, NPCs, and the Replica Teardrop? There is a file named **DCX** in the **parts** folder. Just make a copy and add "_l" (underscore and letter L) directly before the period in the DCX file name. This way the mod will show up on both you and your partners/NPCs/Mimetic Teardrops.

📥 Installation Guide

**UXM installation method**

  • Unpack the parts folder according to the instructions of UXM Selective Unpacker
  • Extract this module to a location of your choice
  • Place the contents of the "parts" folder into the folder of the same name created by UXM
  • Don’t forget to patch the game using the UXM selective unpacker

**Mod Engine 2 [Recommended]**

  • Download Mod Engine 2, you can put it anywhere, it doesn’t have to be in the game directory
  • Make sure there is a "parts" folder in the "mod" folder of Mod Engine 2
  • Extract this module to a location of your choice
  • Place the contents of the "parts" folder into a folder with the same name in the "mod" folder
  • Use the batch file launchmod_eldenring to launch the Elden Ring

🗑️ Uninstall method

Just delete the DCX file in the parts folder, or the entire parts folder if this is the only mod you have installed that uses that folder. Make sure to do this when the game is not running, otherwise the armor will not be visible.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
