Randomizer Item Quality Adjuster
🎮 **Let the random items of Elden's Ring no longer deceive your eyes! **
✨ Module function
This mod adjusts the rarity parameters of various items, controlling the size and color they appear on the large map. The goal is to make the process of picking up items less frustrating, ensuring that junk items like graveyard moss or hearth masks don't show up as rare or legendary quality.
🎯Original design intention
💡 **Primarily designed to be used with** the item and enemy randomizer, but can be used on its own if you prefer.
All items required to unlock important progressions are now at least Rare quality (except for the Sewer Prison Key, most of which were already Rare) so you don't miss out on these key items!
🛡️ Item rarity system
The rarity of the four items in the game from low to high is:
- **Default** (Default)
- **Common** (Common)
- **Rare** (Rare)
- **Legendary** (Legendary)

🔄 Mod Compatibility
⚠️ **NOTE**: This mod edits game parameters, which will ultimately affect the regulation.bin file, so it is unlikely to be compatible with other mods that have a regulation.bin file, unless an application like a randomizer is used to generate a new regulation.bin.
🔧 Manually merge modules
If you want to merge this module with other modules that have regulation.bin, you can use the Smithbox tool:
- Open this mod folder in Smithbox
- Enter ParamEditor and select "Common > EquipParamGoods"

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
