📋 Basic information

• This mod is only tested under the current base game version 1.16 because I don't currently have any DLC
• The mod should also work with DLC
• This mod disables rain and snow in almost all locations
• The mod does not affect fog or other types of weather except rain and snow

⚠️ **WARNING**: Start by installing the anti-cheat switcher and follow its instructions! Modifying game files may result in Elden's Ring online ban if your anti-cheat is not disabled!

📥 Rainless Sky Installation

🎯 **You only need to follow one of the two installation methods below, depending on which requirements you meet**

🔧 Installation Instructions [No Mod/No DLC Version]

If you don't have any mods or DLC installed, use this method:

• Download the **Rainless Skies** file in the files section at the top and unzip it
• Search and open the Elden Circle **main directory**, where your **.exe** file is located

(Steam default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\game)

• Create a backup of the original regulation.bin file
• Open the **Rainless Skies Install** folder in the downloaded folder. Copy the regulation.bin file from the **Rainless Skies Install** folder to the home directory of the Elden Ring and **overwrite** the file
• **Done! Enjoy the weather ;)**

💚 [Recommended] Installation instructions [Mod/DLC version available]

If you have any mods installed and/or have DLC, use this method:

• Download Smithbox from or Github and unzip it
• Download the **Rainless Skies** file in the files section at the top and unzip it
• Search and open the Elden Circle **main directory**, where your **.exe** file is located
• Create a backup of the original regulation.bin file
• Create a new folder wherever you want (e.g. on the desktop or in Program Files) and name it **Smithbox Output**
• Open the downloaded Smithbox folder and search for **smithbox.exe**
• **Double click/launch it** and follow the instructions

🗑️ Uninstall instructions

🎯 **You only need to follow one of the uninstall methods below, depending on which requirements you meet**

🔄 If you still have a backup:

Simply replace the modified regulation.bin in the Eldon Ring home directory with the **original regulation.bin backup** you created earlier

🔧 If you further modify regulation.bin with other modules after installing the weather module:

If you have used Smithbox before, delete all files in the Smithbox output folder. Scroll up from here and follow the same instructions as for installing [Modded/DLC Version], but this time using the WeatherLotParam.csv in the **Rainless Skies Uninstall** folder. This will set the changed weather parameters back to normal without changing anything else in the regulation bin. **The CSV in the uninstall folder** is the original weather parameters for game version 1.16, for the base game and DLC

❌ If you no longer have a backup copy:

**If you don't own any DLC**: Use regulation.bin in the uninstall folder. The regulation.bin in the uninstall folder is a backup for version 1.16 of the game only, without any DLC, so if you own any DLC, do not use the regulation.bin in the uninstall folder

**If you own the DLC**: Delete regulation.bin in the main directory of Elden's Ring. Now go to steam, right click on Elden's Circle and go to properties. Look for the "Verify Game File Integrity" option and click on it. Steam now checks your game files and automatically downloads any missing files. This resets your regulation.bin
