Confessor Armor and Hood - Emblem Removed
✨ Module introduction
Like many people, I think the Penitent suit is pretty cool and has a lot of potential for cosplay and recoloring - if it weren't for that damn emblem on the hood and cape. But even if you remove it from the diffuse map, it will still show up in the game as a "raised" part on the fabric due to its presence in the normal map.
🔧 Features
This mod completely removes these badges by editing the diffuse map and normal map.
⚠️ Notes
There will be a *slight* loss of roughness/texture (or loss in appearance) on the back of the cloak, which I'm not skilled enough to completely avoid, and may also be a by-product of editing the normal map the way I did. But it's really minor and a small price to pay for a clean cape/hood. If anyone wants to try and improve it - feel free!

The image used is from my game and I used shaders in the game so your in-game look will be slightly different than the image.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
