Elden Ring PC Stutter and Low Fps Fix

🎮 **The ultimate solution to solve the stuck problem of Elden's Ring**

💡 Problem background

During gameplay, I frequently encountered intermittent stuttering and low framerate issues. I searched and tried many methods online, but to no avail.

Until I discovered this method! It comes from a video posted by YouTube blogger thsea4021:

✨ Effect verification

After trying this method, the game's occasional lags and frame drops have really disappeared!

  • **Significant Improvement**: Almost all stuttering has been reduced
  • **Unknown principle**: It may be that the CPU resource allocation of the game itself is not good enough
  • **Effective in actual testing**: Although I don’t understand the principle, I found it really useful in game testing.

🛠️ Automation solutions

Using this method originally requires manual settings after each game launch, which is really troublesome. So I made it a Mod!

**After installing this mod**:

-CPU dependency is automatically set after the game is launched

  • No need to set it manually every time
  • Operation is more convenient and faster

📥 Installation Guide

Basic installation steps:

  • **First download and install** Elden Mod Loader, we need it to load dlls for the game
  • **Download this Mod** and extract the mods folder in the package to the game directory (near eldenring.exe)
  • **Verify operation**: You can check whether the mod is running normally in `mods\SetCPUAffinity\log.txt`

Special circumstances:

I recommend you use Elden Mod Loader to load DLLs. If for some unsolvable reason you are unable to use Elden Mod Loader but are able to use Mod Engine 2, here is a solution for loading DLLs using Mod Engine 2:

Mod Engine 2 loading DLL scheme

⚠️ **Important Tip**: Right-click modengine2_launcher.exe and eldenring.exe and set them to Properties-Compatibility-Run the program as administrator.

📝 Instructions for use

This Mod does not have complex logic or algorithms, it is just a faster way of operation. You can view its source code in optional files.

🌟 **WARM NOTE**: This method may not work for everyone and is only posted here as an optional solution. I have tested it on my own game and the effect is remarkable, but I don’t have a lot of test data.

Make your adventure in the Ring of Elden smoother and more enjoyable! 🚀

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
