Mongot's challenge mod makes this boss even more challenging
Vanilla Plus Morgott
🎮 **Hello everyone! **
I'm happy to bring you my original enhanced version of Mongot mod, which greatly enriches this boss's move set and makes the battle more challenging!
🌟Mod background
As a mid-term boss, Mengt in the original game is usually weaker than the later bosses in terms of attribute values and move complexity. The goal of this mod is to increase the difficulty of Mongot's moves to a level comparable to that of late-game bosses - I think it should be close to the original Malenia in terms of move difficulty!
⚔️Main changes
**Comprehensive upgrade of the combat system:**
- ✨ Tons of new combos and enhancements to existing moves
- ⚡ Mongot attacks almost non-stop, the key to successful melee combat is understanding which attacks can be followed by counter attacks and which cannot.
- 🎭 Placed a Malika statue in front of the boss, and a cutscene will now play before each battle
- 🔥 Restored the fire effects of cutscenes in earlier versions of the game
- 🗣️ Ported some new attacks from Margit, added unused voice lines
💡 **Battle Tips:** I recorded the full battle video but won't make it public for now because I don't want to spoil the gaps between attacks in his moves...and other surprises!
📥 Installation Guide
**Steam version installation method:**
- Run the `launchmod_eldenring.bat` file in the folder
**Manual installation (if required):**

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
