Noble suit hood recolor
✨ About the module
The Noble Suit Hood is one of my favorite pieces of armor in Elden's Circle. It's colorful, stylish, stat-boosting, and pairs well with many other armor sets. I always thought it was a bit of a shame that it only came in two colors, so I decided to create some recolor schemes and ended up making twelve different colors. Hope you guys will like it!
**Each recolor scheme only affects the navy hood**, not the crimson hood. This might be a bit inconvenient if you want to get this hood early (without relying on other mods or save editors), but I didn't make this choice randomly: I just didn't want Roderica to be affected by recoloring when wearing it.
When I have time, I'll make each recolor scheme boost a specific stat, since currently we only get a +1 spirit boost.

📥 Installation Guide
- Download Mod Engine 2
- Extract it to your computer
- Download a recolor scheme. Each project contains two folders: "material" and "parts"
- Put these two folders into the "mod" folder in the same directory as "modengine2_launcher.exe"
- Click "launchmod_eldenring.bat" to launch the game
- Find the navy hood, equip it, and enjoy!

🔧 Compatibility Notes
The recolor scheme should be compatible with almost everything, **except** any mod that provides a custom **allmaterial.matbinbnd.dcx** file.
Before pasting the recolor scheme into your "mod" folder, check to see if there is already a "material" folder containing the modified **allmaterial.matbinbnd.dcx**.
If this is the case, you need to perform the following steps to ensure compatibility:
- Download Yabber and extract it to any location
- Go to the "material" folder for the recolor scheme of your choice
- Drag and drop the "allmaterial-matbinbnd.dcx" file onto Yabber.exe in the Yabber folder
- Explore the generated "allmaterial-matbinbnd-dcx" folder and find the path: `allmaterial-matbinbnd-dcx\GR\data\INTERROOT_win64\material\matbin\Parts\matxml`
- Locate the "P[HD_M_1395]_Fabric.matbin" and "P[HD_M_1395]_Fabric_Cloth.matbin" files and copy them
- Use the same process to extract the "allmaterial-matbinbnd.dcx" file that is already in your "mod" folder
- Find the same path in the newly created folder and paste the copied file. Select OK when overwriting.
- Exit the folder and drag and drop it onto Yabber.exe to recreate the new allmaterial-matbinbnd.dcx file
- Delete the two "allmaterial-matbinbnd-dcx" folders as they are no longer useful

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
