Night Trooper armor mod makes the faded man's body more exposed
About this mod Machine translation
Night Trooper armor mod makes the faded man's body more exposed
Night's Cavalry but edgier
🌙Module introduction
I tried to create a more 80s/90s tough guy style Night Trooper armor with a cape for the Faded Ones. After many tweaks and cuts, I finally achieved a design that was closer to my idea.
✨ Major changes
- Removed the "elbow pads" part of the armor
- Removed worn fabric around collar
- Adjusted component positions to avoid gaps
- Retains the iconic cape design
⚙️ Usage requirements
- Requires installation of **Mod Engine 2**
- It is recommended to use the **Smithbox** tool for parameter adjustment
📁 Installation steps
- Copy the contents of the downloaded "parts" folder to the "parts" folder in your Elden Ring installation directory.
- If there is no "parts" folder, you can directly create or copy the entire downloaded "parts" folder
🔧 Parameter adjustment
Use the Smithbox tool to edit the following parameters:
- Open Param Editor
- Select EquipParamProtector
- Find "Night's Cavalry Armor" (Code #230100)
- Import the provided CSV file or manually set the following masks to be visible:
- Mask 30, 31, 40, 41, 42, 45, 46, 47, 48
💡 Compatibility Notes
- Other mods are compatible as long as they do not modify the same parts, character models or CSV parameters
- If there is an invisibility or mold-piercing problem, it is likely that the above mask parameters conflict.
🎯 Development Plan
I'm continuing to improve this mod and plan to:
- Add alternative version
- Improved coverage design of body parts
- Consolidate current Heyman style metal pieces into complete costume pieces

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
