🛠️ Installation Guide
Since these are basic animation files, the installation process is relatively complicated:
- **Preparation Tools**
- Download Yabber 1.3.1 from GitHub
- put it in a separate directory
- **File Configuration**
- Copy the oo2core_6_win64.dll file from the "Ring of Elden" game directory
- Put it into Yabber's "lib" folder
- **Unpacking processing**
- Copy the "c0000_a00_lo.anibnd.dcx" file to the folder where Yabber.exe is located
- Drag the file to Yabber.exe to unpack it
- **Animation Replacement**
- Go into the newly created c0000_a00_lo.anibnd-dcx folder
- Navigate to: GR/data/INTERROOT_win64/chr/c0000/hkx/a00_lo_compendium
- Copy the required .hkx files from idles folder and paste into the above directory
- **Repackaging**
- Drag the c0000_a00_lo.anibnd-dcx folder to Yabber.exe to repackage
- Place the generated files into the mod/chr folder of Mod Engine 2
🔄 Replace different standby animations
If you want to replace another type of standby animation, you need to rename the file and put it in a different folder:
- **One-Handed Heavy Weapon Standby**: Renamed to a002_000000.hkx → c0000_a0x-anibnd-dcx
- **One-Handed Polearm Standby**: Renamed to a003_000000.hkx → c0000_a0x-anibnd-dcx
- **Hand-hand normal standby**: Renamed to a010_000000.hkx → c0000_a1x-anibnd-dcx
- **Two-hand heavy weapon standby**: Renamed to a012_000000.hkx → c0000_a1x-anibnd-dcx
- **Two-Handed Polearm Standby**: Renamed to a013_000000.hkx → c0000_a1x-anibnd-dcx
💡 **Tip**: This tutorial replaces the one-handed normal standby animation by default. If you have any installation problems, please leave a message in the comment area for help!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
