🎮 Moxie Gameplay Mod
This mod rebalances and redoes existing game systems in Elden's Circle to maximize player build options. Moxie is compatible with all existing saves, but since many of the changes focus on improving the early game experience, it's best used when starting a new game.
✨ Core mechanism changes
- Added very slow passive health regeneration to facilitate exploration while keeping combat dangerous
- Added moderate passive focus recovery, supporting combat skill builds and pure caster builds (FP recovery increases with maximum FP value)
- The Blue Dew Drop Holy Grail Bottle has been reworked to provide a short-term adrenaline boosting effect and support aggressive gameplay.
- The elixir chalice bottle now has 3 uses, and the crystallized dew drop effect has been rebalanced accordingly
📈 Improved progress system
- Forge stones are available by region from merchants around the world, making purchasing forge stones available earlier (at a higher price)
- Each level of weapon upgrade uses the same number of forging stones. Unwanted forging stones can be traded to merchants for other items (the selling value of forging stones is greatly increased)
- The base item discovery rate is increased to 200, effectively doubling the item drop probability of all enemies.
- Consumable rune items provide double runes
🛠️ Item crafting overhaul
A number of changes have been made to item crafting to make it more accessible and desirable:
- Many craftable items have been improved or reworked to make them actually useful
- Crafting materials are more abundant, and each material has a high or guaranteed chance of being dropped by designated enemy types.
- The location of the elemental damage recipe book has been adjusted and can be obtained in the early game
- The number of Cracked Pots available has been doubled
⚔️ Combat balance changes
- Improved poisoning status effects: causing continuous posture damage to enemies, making them vulnerable to critical strikes; continuously consuming stamina for players during combat
- Weapon grease and spell buffs are available on all weapons and last longer
- Increased projectile speed and crossbow damage, allowing it to be used as a primary weapon
- Improved underperforming spells and prayers, including all gravity spells and fire spells (Elden Meteor is really strong now)
- Various small changes to make items and spells scale better in the mid-to-late game
🏪 Merchant System
- Some merchant inventory items in Nimgolf and the Hall of the Round Table to help you get started quickly with any character type
🎯 Late enemy balance
- Contains a small adjustment to the enemy damage value in the later stage, derived from Dunkey's late stage repair module! These changes smooth out the difficulty curve in the final part of the game

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
