Modular Speed Config
🎮 **A fully customizable character movement speed adjustment module**
✨ Core Functions
This mod allows you to fine-tune all movement parameters of your character, including:
- **GENERAL SPEED ADJUSTMENT** - Base movement speed multiplier
- **Weight Class Modifier** - Speed impact of light, medium, heavy and extra heavy equipment
- **Action Type Modification** - Independent adjustments for sprinting, running, walking, jumping, and sneaking
- **Gradient Weight Scaling** - Smooth speed changes based on gear weight ratios
⚙️ Configuration method
Open the `SpeedConfig.lua` file and adjust the following parameters (1 represents 100% original speed):
**Basic settings:**
- `scgeneralspeed = 1` - general speed multiplier
- `scsprintspeed = 1` - Sprint speed
- `scrunspeed = 1` - running speed
- `scwalkspeed = 1` - walking speed
- `scsneakspeed = 1` - Sneak speed
- `scjumpspeed = 1` - jump speed
**Weight Class Settings:**
- `sclightspeed = 1` - light equipment speed
- `scnormalspeed = 1` - Medium equipment speed
- `scheavyspeed = 1` - Heavy equipment speed
- `scoverweightspeed = 1` - Overweight equipment speed
**Advanced Features:**
- `scchargejumppower = 1.6` - charge jump power (used with double jump module)
- `scgradientredux=0` - Gradient weight scaling switch
🎯 Configuration example
The author recommends configuration:
```lua
scgeneralspeed = 0.9 -- slightly reduces base speed
scsprintspeed = 1.11 -- Increase sprint speed
scsneakspeed = 0.9 -- Reduces sneak speed
scchargejumppower = 2.1 -- Enhanced charge jump
scgradientredux = 1.42 -- Enable gradient weight scaling
```
📥 Installation Guide
**Standard installation:**
- Copy the mods folder contents to your modengine mod folder
- Done!
**Merge installation (most mods):**
- Delete the c000.hks file in action/script
- In your preferred hks file, add two lines of code above "global = {}"
**Merge installation (ERR):**
- Delete the c000.hks file in action/script
- In the ERR hks file, add code before "global={}", leaving blank between each line

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
