🎯 Performance impact

In the RTX 4080 + 7800X3D configuration, the performance impact is almost negligible.

🚀 Default optimization

**Super RT Preset:**

• ✅Fixed the softening problem (no penumbra effect)

**High RT Preset:**

• ✅Fixed the softening problem (no penumbra effect)

🔄 Blending Mode

If you want to use RTAO but keep raster shadows for slightly better performance:

**Medium RT presets now include:**

• 🔄 Disable RT shadows (only use RTAO)
• ✅Fixed softening issue
• 📊 The rest are based on the original super presets

**Low RT presets now include:**

• 🔄 Disable RT shadows (only use RTAO)
• ✅Fixed softening issue
• 📊 The rest are based on the original high preset

🎮 Shadow quality improvement

When using the Medium/Low presets above, raster shadow resolution depends on the Shadow Quality setting:

• Super: 8k
• High: 4k
• Wait (twice the size of the original)

⚠️ NOTE: Raster shadows may have flickering issues at very close ranges and when moving the camera slowly

**My recommended configuration:**

• 🏆 Looking for the best quality? Select Ultra Preset
• ⚡ Like RTAO but not RT shadows? Select the default

Using high or low presets is not recommended as the framerate difference is insignificant (<1fps) compared to the above presets

Recommended choices: Ultra (full RT) or Medium (RTAO only)
