Marlenia Wings Helmet and Player Hairstyle
✨ Module function
This mod replaces the Messemer Helmet (modified version) with a resized Malenia Wings Helmet model. The new model has been rescaled (the width is increased by 1/10), which effectively prevents the problem of hairstyles penetrating the helmet. It is now compatible with all (I think all) hairstyles, and there is almost no mold wear.

🎯 Design Concept
This replacement was a by-product of my custom Messemer set.
Why not just replace the Malenia Wings Helmet? Because that requires modifying the regulation.bin file to adjust the settings for displaying player hairstyles. This version completely avoids those troubles, and in my opinion, replacing the Messemer helmet, which is already ugly, is no big deal.

🔄 Other replacement options
If you want to replace other helmets without modifying regulation.bin, you can rename these files to "hd_m_2220.partsbnd.dcx" and "hd_m_2220_l.partsbnd.dcx" respectively, so that you can use this model to replace the Young Scholar's Hat, which has the same hairstyle rules as the Mersemer helmet.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
