Longer Weapons

🗡️ Module function

Many weapons feel ridiculously short in the game. A long sword should be more than just the length of an armed sword, and a short sword should be more than just a longer dagger.

Therefore, this mod extends the length of most weapons by 15-30%, with the specific ratio optimized and adjusted based on the characteristics of each weapon.

📋 Unmodified weapons

To maintain game balance and visual impact, the following weapon classes have not been modified:

• **Knox Mobile Sword** (the curve in the game has weird straight lines)
• **All Katanas** (looks funny and unrealistic when extended)
• **Some glove weapons** such as Kestus
• **All whips and flails** (doesn't work properly with scaling alone)
• **All spellcasting tools** (no modification necessary)
• **All Bows and Crossbows** (no modifications necessary)

⚔️ IMPORTANT NOTE

**It’s not just a visual change! ** The hit box of the weapon has also been lengthened accordingly, which means that the gameplay will also be affected.

🎒 Sheath treatment

I also removed the sheaths from all extended weapons (optional download available to restore them). There are two reasons:

• The sheath may penetrate the molded floor due to improper placement angle.
• I personally don’t like the way they look.

**NOTE**: Since Katanas are not covered by this mod, they will be the only weapons that retain their sheaths. If you also want to remove the katana's sheath, you can install MadMax's No Scabbards mod.

🔧 Recommended combination

I highly recommend using Better Weapon Proportions along with this mod. My mods are just simple scaling and DetritusZ3R0 does a great job of re-proportioning the weapons, making them look better and slightly longer!

⚠️ Known issues

• **Executioner's Greataxe**: Edge visuals do not move correctly when greased (currently unfixable)

Using Mod Engine 2, put the parts folder into the mod folder
