📥 Installation method
Method 1: UXM installation
UXM Tutorial Video
- **Unpack and patch the game using UXM tools** (if you haven’t done so yet)
- Find the `/parts` folder in the game directory
- Drag and drop the module file into the parts folder, overwriting the original file.
- Click "Patch" in UXM
- Run the game after disabling the EAC anti-cheat system
Method 2: ModEngine2 installation *Recommended*

- Drag and drop all .dcx files into the mod\parts folder
- Run the game directly

🔧 Advanced Customization
**Rename gear mod files to replace other sets:**
- Check the Elden Ring equipment and weapon model IDs
- **File naming rules:**
- `hd` = helmet
- `bd` = breastplate
- `lg` = leg
- `am` = gauntlets
- `m` = male
- `f` = female
- `XXXX` = model ID
- `wp` = weapon
- `_l` = NPC item
- **Example:**
- `bd_m_XXXX.partsbnd.dcx` → `bd_m_1540.partsbnd.dcx` (replaces male chainmail)
- `wp_a_XXXX.partsbnd.dcx` → `wp_a_0550.partsbnd.dcx` (replaces the knife)
💡 **Tips:**
- Most character mods only use breastplate parts, the helmet, leg armor and gauntlets will remain invisible
- If the set contains a female version file (bd_f_XXXX) but it is not provided in the module, you can copy the male version file and rename it
