John Shepard replacement battle mage set
Mass Effect 3 John Shepard
🎮 Module introduction
This mod replaces the Battle Mage suit from Elden's Circle with the iconic character from Mass Effect 3 - John Shepard! Let you experience the style of an interstellar commander in the border area.
⚡ Prerequisites
For best results, it is recommended to also install my **Remove Player Skin Mod V3.1** to prevent model cross-moulding issues with character presets.
📥 Installation method
Method 1: UXM installation
- Use UXM tools to unpack and patch game files
- Find the `/parts` folder in the game directory
- Drag and drop the module file into the parts folder (it is recommended to back up the original file first)
- Click Patch in UXM
- Run the game after disabling EAC
Method 2: ModEngine2 installation (recommended)
- Use ModEngine2 tool
- Drag and drop all .dcx files into the mod\parts folder
- Run the game directly
🔧 Custom replacement
Want to replace other equipment? Just rename the file:
**File naming rules:**
- hd = helmet | bd = armor | lg = legs | am = gauntlets
- m = male | f = female | wp = weapon
- XXXX = model ID
**Example:**
- `bd_m_1540.partsbnd.dcx` replaces male chain mail
- `wp_a_0550.partsbnd.dcx` replaces the knife
💡 Usage Tips
- Most character mods only use the armor part, with the helmet, leg armor and gauntlets hidden
- If the package contains female version files, the male files can be copied and renamed to the female version

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
