Bringing Jetstream Sam and his Muramasa sword from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance into the Elden Ring
Jetstream Sam (MGR)
🎭 Role replacement
- **Sam Replaces Kalia Knight Outfit**: Original outfit replaced with Jetstream Sam's outfit
- **Mask Version**: Variable version of the set includes a retractable mask look
- **Weapon Replacement**: The Muramasa Sword replaces the "River of Blood" weapon in the game
⚔️ Custom weapon replacement
You can change the weapon replacement object by changing the file ID:
- Rename `wp_a_0417.partsbnd.dcx` to `wp_a_0200.partsbnd.dcx` to replace the long sword
- This file contains the model and hitbox, no need to worry about the hitbox problem of using sword with dagger
- Part ID reference: Part ID list
🌐 Multiplayer Compatibility
To keep the files lighter, I did not include files with the `_l` suffix, which are used for other players' armor, NPCs, and characters in loading screens. Therefore other players cannot see your model in multiplayer games.
**To display in multiplayer**, copy the following file and add the `_l` suffix:
- `am_m_1600.partsbnd.dcx` → `am_m_1600_l.partsbnd.dcx`
- `bd_m_1600.partsbnd.dcx` → `bd_m_1600_l.partsbnd.dcx`
- `hd_m_1600.partsbnd.dcx` → `hd_m_1600_l.partsbnd.dcx`
- `lg_m_1600.partsbnd.dcx` → `lg_m_1600_l.partsbnd.dcx`

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
